Tip 58: Start your Podcast to teach back

'The medium of podcasting and the personal nature of it, the relationship you build with your listeners and the relationship they have with you—they could be just sitting there, chuckling and listening… there’s nothing like that.' Marc Maron, Host of WTF with Marc Maron

In tip 16, I already talked about the power of Podcasts and how listening to inspiring people can enrich your learning experience. Another way is to actually produce your own Podcast to teach back what you have learned along the way to your audience. As you know from tip 19, a teach back is a very effective form of learning.

Too complicated? That's what you might think … But wait! It's NOT. I started my own Podcast a year ago with no knowledge whatsoever about how to do it. And I can ensure you, it's really easy. You don't even need extra equipment. The only thing you need is a smartphone for recording your voice. Apart from that, you'll need to upload your Podcast to a hosting platform (like Podcaster.de) from where you can distribute it to Spotify, iTunes etc. In my opinion there is no digital learning (and teaching) format which is easier to produce while providing the same huge value.

When will you try to record the first episode? If you need support, have a look at my digital learning online course: https://inspired-learning-in-a-digital-world.myshopify.com

If you'd like to listen to my own Podcast, here it is: Spotify, Itunes or Podcast.de!
