'Lack of direction, not lack of time, is the problem. We all have twenty-four hour days.' Zig Ziglar
This is a no-brainer: If you want to achieve your learning targets, you need what? TARGETS! Yet most people don't even stop a minute to reflect on what they want to achieve. They waste a lot of time in an unfocused mode trying to achieve something that they are not even clear about.
Which questions to ask? 1. What do I want to learn in the next month(s) 2. How will I learn (e.g. through (online) courses, observing others, finding a mentor/coach, reading, taking over a new project etc.) 3. When do I take time to learn 4. Who can support me?
Take 20 minutes now to write those monthly targets on a seperate tab in your learning diary.
Have fun & stay focused!
