'Feedback is the breakfast of champions.' Ken Blanchard
Most people do not voluntarily ask others for honest feedback. They might be afraid of how much their self-perception differs from other people's perception.
Yet, using others as a mirror reveils the actual (and not planned) impact that you have on them. It is one of the easiest and cheapest ways to know where you can make the biggest impact in your own development. It helps you to follow the logic of the 80-20 pareto rule: By focussing on the few critical development areas that can boost your success most.
Ask yourself: Who can I ask today to share honest feedback with me? These can be friends, colleagues, partners, bosses, and children. Send out at least three requests today!
